Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Uncupped website (uncupped.app) and the Uncupped mobile application (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1) Who we are

“Uncupped”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to the operator of the Service. For support, contact support@uncupped.app.

2) Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your country) to use the Service.

3) Accounts (Google sign-in and guest use)

  • You may use the Service via Google sign-in or via guest/anonymous mode (if available).
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and account.
  • You agree not to impersonate others or misrepresent your identity.

4) What the Service does

Uncupped helps users record and organize coffee-related data (e.g., coffees, grinders, brews, notes, ratings). Some features may evolve over time and may be offered as beta or limited features.

5) User content

You may submit content such as text, ratings, and photos (“User Content”). You retain ownership of your User Content.

License to operate the Service

You grant Uncupped a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display your User Content solely for operating and improving the Service (for example, to show your photos in your account).

Note: At the moment, the Service may display only curated/verified roaster content (as applicable). If public community features are introduced later, additional rules may apply and these Terms may be updated.

6) Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes.
  • Upload content that infringes intellectual property rights or violates privacy.
  • Upload malware or attempt to interfere with the Service’s security or integrity.
  • Scrape, reverse engineer, or attempt to access the Service in unauthorized ways.

7) Intellectual property

The Service, including branding, design, and software (excluding User Content), is owned by Uncupped and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

8) Third-party services

The Service may rely on third-party providers (for example, cloud hosting and authentication). Your use may also be subject to their terms and policies.

9) Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you violate these Terms or if needed to protect the Service, users, or comply with law. You may stop using the Service at any time.

10) Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Coffee brewing results vary and any guidance is for informational purposes only.

11) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Uncupped will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service.

12) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on uncupped.app and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
