Account Deletion

You can request deletion of your Uncupped account and associated personal data at any time.

1) Delete your account in the app (recommended)

  1. Open the Uncupped app.
  2. Go to SettingsAccountDelete account (menu names may vary).
  3. Confirm the deletion request.
If you do not see a “Delete account” button yet: use the email method below and we will process it manually.

2) Delete your account by email

Send an email to privacy@uncupped.app with the subject: “Account Deletion Request”.

Please include:

  • The email address you used to sign in (Google sign-in email), or your in-app username (if available).
  • A brief confirmation that you want your account deleted.

3) What gets deleted

When we delete your account, we will delete or anonymize (as applicable):

  • Your profile information (display name, photo, username).
  • Your saved coffees, grinders, brews, notes, and ratings associated with your account.
  • Photos you uploaded that are associated with your account.

4) Retention and processing time

  • We aim to process deletion requests within 30 days.
  • Some information may be retained if required by law, security, or to prevent fraud/abuse.
  • Backups may persist for a limited period, after which they are overwritten in the normal course of operations.

5) Guest / anonymous users

If you used Uncupped in guest/anonymous mode, your data may be stored under an anonymous identifier on your device/account. If you uninstall the app, local data may be removed from your device. If you want server-side deletion of anonymous data, please contact us and provide as much information as possible (e.g., screenshots of your profile screen).
