Account Deletion

You can request deletion of your Uncupped account and associated personal data at any time.
1) Delete your account in the app (recommended)
- Open the Uncupped app.
- Go to Settings → Account → Delete account (menu names may vary).
- Confirm the deletion request.
2) Delete your account by email
Send an email to privacy@uncupped.app with the subject: “Account Deletion Request”.
Please include:
- The email address you used to sign in (Google sign-in email), or your in-app username (if available).
- A brief confirmation that you want your account deleted.
3) What gets deleted
When we delete your account, we will delete or anonymize (as applicable):
- Your profile information (display name, photo, username).
- Your saved coffees, grinders, brews, notes, and ratings associated with your account.
- Photos you uploaded that are associated with your account.
4) Retention and processing time
- We aim to process deletion requests within 30 days.
- Some information may be retained if required by law, security, or to prevent fraud/abuse.
- Backups may persist for a limited period, after which they are overwritten in the normal course of operations.
5) Guest / anonymous users
If you used Uncupped in guest/anonymous mode, your data may be stored under an anonymous identifier on your device/account. If you uninstall the app, local data may be removed from your device. If you want server-side deletion of anonymous data, please contact us and provide as much information as possible (e.g., screenshots of your profile screen).
